Election Observer Alliance presents the people of Bangladesh with the true picture of the election period on the basis of accurate and true information data during the pre-election, election-time and post-election.
The EOA stands for the Election Observer Alliance, which is a coalition of election observers authorized by Bangladesh Election Commission. Our goal is to present the people of Bangladesh with the true picture of elections in Bangladesh. Our only goal is to observe and comment on elections from an impartial, unbiased and fact based point of view.
EOA observes elections to assess the extent to which electoral processes respect fundamental freedoms and are characterized by equality, universality, political pluralism, confidence, transparency and accountability. The Alliance also supports authorities in their efforts to improve electoral processes and to follow up on recommendations from Election Observers, by reviewing election-related legislation, providing technical expertise and supporting the activities of citizen observer groups.
